Komprex was established as an independent Company in 2000 although our staff have been actively engaged in composite construction for over 25 years. We have a specialised facility for making tubular components which we autoclave for maximum performance. Typically we are fully versed in small to medium batch flow of vacuum bagged moulded components found throughout modern high performance cars, boats and aircraft. Our relationship with pre preg partners is special and gives us a valuable insight into the application of resin systems and fibre application.

The management at Komprex has an "aircraft mentality" towards work. Both senior managers are qualified pilots and have several thousand hours experience flying complex types such Boeing 737, Cessna, Shorts and Piper aircraft. The management of this type of operation engenders a philosophy that if it fails – the consequences are critical. Standard operating procedures are therefore fully integrated into our methodology. This background coupled to our extensive experience in composite engineering gives us a unique approach to customer requirements.

Komprex has a unique and confidential arrangement with its customers. Most of the components we make give a tactical advantage and this gain is won after considerable research and development  .
